"Groupings curated from the postcard archive of Violet Hopkins"
With the aid of iron wire, plastic foil and aluminum foil I build structures where everything is visible yet simultaneously strives to be translucent. My recent sculptures are constructed from cardboard, tape, aluminum-foil and iron wire. They often take on a monumental sculptural form. For the exhibition at LAMOA I will use the project space to show two small sculptures, which are based on organic and architectural structures, and I will exhibit one outdoor sculpture.
